Adib's Story

Adib began training with me 7 weeks ago. Drawing inspiration from seeing several recent transformations, Adib wanted to transform his body. with an initial goal of reducing his bodyweight down to 100kg. 7 weeks later and this has already been achieved.

The goal is now to reduce his bodyweight to 85kg by his 21st birthday in March. A tall order, but one that Adib is well equipped to achieve. Adib has a steely determination, and continued progression with his training & nutrition will see him achieve this goal. Stay tuned to see his continued progress. Here is what Adib has had to say so far:

"I've never been one for fitness or dieting even though I come from a sports background. And I've always been self-conscious about the way I look: used to always half-dip in a pool and take my shirt off just as a dive in. Clothes sometimes struggled to fit and don't even get me started on EVERY SINGLE PERSON I SAW IN LEBANON (LITERALLY ALL OF THEM CALLED ME FAT).

But over the past few years I've let myself go due to a severe knee injury, arm injuries and working at a patisserie for 18 months.

7 weeks ago I started training with Paul and it has been absolutely life changing.

10 Kgs down in 7 weeks, 12cm off waist and 21cm off hips! And I feel fucking amazing!

Thank you Paul for helping me achieve the first of my goals, onto the next ones"

In addition to the 10kg of weight lost, Adib has seen his waist measurement drop by 12cm & his hip measurement drop by 21cm.

I think Adib's story highlights some very important points: -

1. Turn negative or hurtful comments around by taking positive action:

Adib visited family and friends at home in Lebanon and was told by all and sundry that he looked fat. So he has taken these comments on the chin and done something about it.

2. Adib works and studies but has managed to find the time to train 5-6 times per week and prepare food. He has made his health and fitness a priority.

3. Don't let injuries hold you back:

Adib has found ways to train and work around injuries to ensure he can still train effectively.

4. The importance of having strong goals to work towards:

When speaking to Adib for the first time he told me he was a '17 out of 10' in terms of how committed he was to achieving his goals. He was adamant that he wanted to get to 100kg. Now this has been achieved he is adamant that he wants to be at 85kg in time for his 21st birthday in March. Make sure you have a clear goal and you know WHY that goal is important to you.
